Hello to all students and parents.  This time of year is very busy for LRC teachers.  We are setting up programs for students, updating IEP’s and talking to teachers about the needs of the students who are new to their classrooms.  If anyone has questions about their child’s program please let me know by calling me at school.  I am free for meetings most nights after school.  IEP’s will be coming home soon, outlining student programs. 

Hi!  I am the TAPS  LRC teacher for grades 1-5.  My goal is to help students achieve to their potential.  Sometimes I work with students in the LRC room and at other times I visit the classroom.  Students are used to seeing me in the classroom and I enjoy working with small groups in the LRC room.  I am the person who refers students for therapy services the school provides like speech therapy, occupational therapy, or physical therapy.  I do some educational testing and conferencing with parents. I hope to use this site to let parents know about current happenings and to convey information about special education and how we run programs at TAPS. Thanks for visiting my site!
