All schools in Ontario must, by regulation, have a School Council which is representative of the following stakeholders in the school.

• Parents of children who attend the school - Parents must constitute a majority on the School Council and only a parent can assume the Chair of Council.
• The School Principal
• Teacher(s)
• Non-Teaching Staff
• Student(s) – Student representation is optional for elementary school
• Community representative

Our School Council meets most months and meetings are open to all parents. Meetings are listed on the calendar of the monthly school newsletter. The Executive is chosen in September. Please come out to a meeting!
